1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20 ~ "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
I would like to share this insight I have drawn from Nancy Leigh DeMoss this morning speaking about the importance of our modesty as women:
".....Richard Baxter was a 17th century pastor who realized how a woman's clothing could snare a man's mind. He gave women this counsel: "You must walk among sinful persons as you would do with a candle among straw or gunpowder....."
Are we being that cautious in our lives in order to guard the hearts of men around us? Whether you're single or married, our clothing choices today can either encourage men around us to be morally pure, or we can distract them.

Are you walking as if you had a candle among gunpowder? Ask the Lord Jesus to help you in this area. Start becoming a light to all men around you towards fidelity, sexual purity, and holiness.
Have you given modesty much attention? The next time you look in the mirror, ask yourself: Will this cause distraction or temptation? Women, let’s show modesty and self-control. That, honors God!
