2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 ~ And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
PSALM 29:2 ~ "Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness."
LORD Jesus, it feels as though I am walking against an unfamiliar territory. In this place of journey. Here. Feet bare-naked. Clothed by Your grace and mercies. Powered by the faith I have in You. Hands washed by Your humility.
In my weakness, LORD, I just can’t do another thing anymore. Like a leaf-less tree waiting for Spring time. I am sapped of energy.
My heart is willing and frightened all at the same time. To tell Your story. Your legacy. Your journey.
Butterflies in my stomach. I am somewhat afraid—to do these things again: To journal. To study. To live in words—in deeds. To live outside the comfort zone. To serve. In the absence of unbelief.
In this beautiful pilgrim’s road, Your life’s lessons are learned. In Your strength, I am holding on. Indeed, Your “strength is made perfect in weakness.”
In Your Word, I can journey boldly for You are with me:
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
I don't deserve to serve you, oh LORD. While You are altogether lovely, I am not. While You are Perfect, I am not. Therefore, here I am, LORD. In my imperfection, I come. In my brokenness, You pieced me back together. I am never the same. Unfrightened. Less wounded. Whole. More than willing to journey in You and with You, along with my beloved David, along with my fellow sojourners in faith.
In the power of Your strength that is so sweet!
I do not know how long I will journey here. Feet quivering-cold. Fingers wilted. But I will serve when You called, LORD. To do what is compelled—in and through—me. Not by my own wisdom, but Yours. Not by my own strength, but Yours. All for Your greater glory and honor alone.
In the power of Your strength that is so sweet!
~ ISAIAH 40:31 ~
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
I do not know how long I will journey here. Feet quivering-cold. Fingers wilted. But I will serve when You called, LORD. To do what is compelled—in and through—me. Not by my own wisdom, but Yours. Not by my own strength, but Yours. All for Your greater glory and honor alone.
"I call on the Lord in my distress, and He answers me." (Psalm 120:1)
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15:5-6)
"keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." (Jude 1:21)
LORD, Your grace, in my insufficiency ... I am ...
Filled.
Humbled.
Humbled.
Content.
Grateful.
Recharged.
On Pilgrim's road, everyday is a mission trip. When you have the LORD in the midst, you have everything that you need — "For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s" (Romans 14:8)

Oh Lord, we reckon we are not by ourselves
We fail to do a lot of things as we ought to do;
But, Lord, when trials are steep and pass is high,
Help us to ride it straight the whole way through.
And in the falling dusk,
When we get the final call,
We do not care how many flowers they send;
For us, the happiest trail above all will be,
For You to say to us, Lord,
"Come and ride with Me, My friend."
Please guide and protect Your pilgrims, Oh Lord!
As through hard times of life we travel
Give us strength for the battle
Hope for the future
Courage to face the unknown
Keep Your pilgrims safe from harm
As we pray for peace and daily provisions.
A joyful journey begins and ends in Christ.

"You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." -Psalm 16:11
All glory to Christ Jesus our LORD, Savior, and Friend!
