. . . I don't claim that I know everything about life. But one thing I am certain that apart from the love and mercies of Christ—I AM NOTHING. " But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."(Galatians 6:14). All to JESUS I surrender. . .all to Thee my Blessed Savior. . .I surrender all. Thank YOU my Precious LORD JESUS for all Your blessings in my life. I love YOU, and thank YOU for loving me first. Forever Yours--Erlinda Mejia Olson

JOHN 1:1-4 ~ "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men."

PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11 ~ "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Who is JESUS CHRIST?
The Son of God. The Creator of ALL things. The Perfect Lamb of God. The Alpha and the Omega. The bright and morning Star. The King of Israel. The Son of Man. The Head of the Church (His Bride). The Rock of our salvation. Our Prophet, Priest, and King. The Prince of Peace. The King of kings and Lord of lords. The Word. The Redeemer. The Anointed One. The Messiah. The Lord and Savior. The Way, the Truth, and the Life. ALL authority is given unto Him in heaven and in earth.
When the question is made personal it becomes the most important question one will ever ask or answer. The LORD Jesus Christ said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).  We are told in 1 John 5:11-13, that if we have the Son of God in our life we can know that we have eternal life. The LORD Jesus is the only way for us to live an abundant life here on earth, to receive eternal life in fellowship with God. The LORD Jesus died on the cross to take away—once and for all the punishment for our sins we so justly deserve, so that we could be declared righteous in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. By rejecting the free gift of eternal life means eternal condemnation (Mark 3:28-29) if you died at this very moment unsaved. Jesus Christ must become the LORD of your life. Picture your life as an automobile, the LORD Jesus must be behind the wheel of your life—as your unseen Navigator.
Charles H. Spurgeon wrote:
Faith is the work of God's grace in us. No man can say that Jesus is the Christ but by the Holy Ghost. "No man cometh unto me," saith Jesus, "except the Father which hath sent me draw him." So that faith, which is coming to Christ, is the result of divine drawing. Grace is the first and last moving cause of salvation; and faith, essential as it is, is only an important part of the machinery which grace employs. We are saved "through faith," but salvation is "by grace." Sound forth those words as with the archangel's trumpet: "By grace are ye saved." What glad tidings for the undeserving!
Never make a Christ out of your faith, nor think of as if it were the independent source of your salvation. Our life is found in "looking unto Jesus," not in looking to our own faith. By faith all things become possible to us; yet the power is not in the faith, but in the God upon whom faith relies.
See then, dear friend, that the weakness of your faith will not destroy you. A trembling hand may receive a golden gift. The Lord's salvation can come to us though we have only faith as a grain of mustard seed. The power lies in the grace of God, and not in our faith. Great messages can be sent along slender wires, and the peace-giving witness of the Holy Spirit can reach the heart by means of a thread-like faith which seems almost unable to sustain its own weight. Think more of Him to whom you look than of the look itself. You must look away even from your own looking, and see nothing but Jesus, and the grace of God revealed in Him. (All Of Grace—The Spurgeon Archive: “Just and the Justifier”)
Now, my question is: Who is Jesus Christ to YOU? You can know and you can change your life at this very moment. Admit that you’re a sinner, and that you need a Savior, repent of your sin before God. Believe in the atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ on the cross and receive the gift of eternal life which He died to freely give you. Giving all thanks and honor to Him.

Friend, do you know Jesus Christ personally? Is He the LORD and SAVIOR of your life today, and eternity? If He is not, do not waste your time adjourning.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:16-18)
"looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2)
""Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."" (John 14:6)
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8)
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

IN OUR SAVIOR'S LOVE
Poem by: David Olson and Erlinda Mejia Olson
(a personal reflection on Romans 5:8)

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

In our Savior's love, we have been redeemed.
From that wretched life we once lived.
We could have been lost if I didn't yield
The free gift of salvation
That was fully offered for a wretch like us.

In our Savior's love, we are being molded every day.
To a life that is set apart—
Our investment for eternity.
Trusting in our Savior’s righteousness
To God each day we pray.

In our Savior's love, we can do all things.
Lending us strength so we can carry through
This life's long journey of bliss and despair.
But such a Savior we have
Who will never leave us nor forsake us.

In our  Savior's love, a new creation we have become.
Seeking to glorify our Savior
In this new life that we have.
There is nothing more sufficient in this life
Than to be wrapped in the love of God.

In our Savior's love, we are all complete.
For His grace is sufficient in meeting all our needs.
He fills our heart with heavenly treasures—
Treasures of life this world cannot buy.
Our Savior is all sufficient—all we ever need.

In our Savior's love, we forever live.
