Jesus Loves The Little Children

LUKE 18:16-17 ~ “But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.  Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

I was about to make a one big bite of  my chicken sandwich when I came face to face with some little girls with big brown eyes staring at me.  We exchanged smiles, then I said: “Hi girls!”  With a shy “hi” back, then giggles.  Such innocence was refreshing, despite of the heat outside—100 degrees Fahrenheit and humid. This is one of those days where I could use a cool breeze of winter air.  I thought the Philippine heat was hot enough, this is even hotter.

Kids continue to run in and out of the restaurant, unknowingly ignoring the blazing heat of the summer.  Giving a quick glance at me, wondering who I was and what I was doing—as they passed by at this one corner where I was enjoying the comfort of my Invisible Friend, the ONE I am blogging for.  For the whole world to know. 

Reminiscing of my own childhood days: A dark busy toad, I was. With the sun as my friend, I was having a blast of playful moments.  I THANK the Lord Jesus for my youth.

I miss those days! 

The simplicity of life as reflected in the eyes of a child.

Cheerful!

Content.

JESUS loves the little children. ALL OF THEM. 

And HE loves, You and Me—just the same.

What a sweet countenance!
