My Sovereign Thee
My gracious and merciful Heavenly Father, thank you for letting me wake up in the beauty of Thy greatness and love. It’s another beautiful day You have made! LORD, it’s such an idyllic sight to see other people thriving, inspired, happy, in love … it’s contagious! You stirred the very core of my being by the vastness of Thy merciful heart—You have extended Thy forgiveness to a lowly soul like me for all the vain things I have done. I could only wish for the hands of time to be wind back—to be given another chance to make things right, but a new hope has sprung up because of Thy mercies being new every day—You have kept no record of my offenses and Thou has vindicated me. Thou art almighty, I am so small. Thank you, my Sovereign Thee! “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10) … “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit" (Psalm 51:12). All these things I pray in Jesus' name, amen.
