1 CHRONICLES 16:29 ~ "Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!"
We might be facing some circumstances in our lives which are too good to be true. Sometimes the easiest way to identify something is to figure out what it is not and go from there. In the aspect of worship—authentic worship is not an emotional exuberance. It is not goose bumps (what some call "God bumps"). It is not a passionate frenzy. Yes, worship can be exciting, but the emotional side should never overshadow the focus on GOD.
Woship is not a musical performance, although music can play a role in helping us connect with God. The Apostle Paul encourages us in Ephesians 5:19-20, "speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." The music should stir the core of the heart not the feet. Worship is not a spectator sport—it requires our complete attention and participation in all humility and submission to GOD.
Worship is not about us.
Worship is about a personal relationship with the LIVING GOD through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, and the goal of true worship should always be—to bring honor to our audience of ONE—who is the EPITOME of worship.

Song:
I SURRENDER ALL
I SURRENDER ALL
By: Judson W. Van DeVenter, 1896
All to Jesus I surrender;
All to Jesus I surrender;
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
Refrain:
I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!
Now I feel the sacred flame.
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!
