Dear Father in Heaven, we thank Thee for Thy protection—for always watching over us and keeping us safe. Thank you for the restful night—Your promises through Thy Holy Word has been our safe haven, our present help. Waking up in Thy Blissful Presence is a new hope ... a new strength .... a new perspective. Father, help us to be courageous, help us not be dismayed, help us not to feel discourage no matter what the day may bring. Thank you that we can count on Thy faithfulness. You promised us that You will never leave us nor forsake us ... that You will always be with us wherever we go, our Invisible Lord, Savior, and Friend. Our merciful and compassionate, Father, we lift up to You the confused young man that we met on the street last night. Our hearts went out to him. We know that Your love is unconditional ... You extend Thy grace both for the saved and the unsaved. Help him Lord, deliver him from all the things which keeping him in bondage—we also ask Thee for all the people who have gone astray—stranger or no stranger to us. In the beauty of the Lord Jesus' cross, no one is beyond redemption ... no one is beyond change. There is hope and a future. There is nothing greater in this life, Father, than to live in Thy Presence all the days of our lives—we ask Thee of Thy Presence to ever be the same. We humbly pray for all these things to be done according to Thy perfect will through Christ Jesus' precious name, Amen.
