Scripture Reading: 2 Chronicles Chapter 17: 1-10.
It was a soul-stirring Sunday service at church today with Pastor Albey’s message on the life of Jehoshaphat, King of Judah. We saw in God’s words how King Jehoshaphat walked with God in obedience, and became an example to his people. King Jehoshaphat did not seek after other gods of this world, but sought the face of the one and only True God, the God of Israel, the God of David (2 Chronicles 17:3). He also taught his people of God’s words by sending out Levite priests to all the cities.
The fear of God came upon the nations around them so that they were peaceful withJudah .
In conclusion, we should also follow the Lord and obey His Word … walk with Him no matter what anyone else around us does.
